Winged Bulls/Oxen in Persian/Zoroastrian art are shown "supporting" the structure as Geush Urvan-"Soul of the Kine-the World," that symbolically support the world. All major ancient sites in Iran that depict guards in bas relief, had these carved in side profile as seen in the bas reliefs, in the two pictures above, at the new Temple at Godrej Baug. FRONTAL PORTRAYAL IS OF ANCIENT HINDU RELIGIOUS ART.
